Water Filter Repair & Maintenance in Fishers, IN

This is the part of the business most companies treat as an afterthought, and it is the reason most of our customers found us in the first place.

We Service the Systems Other People Installed

The pattern is familiar enough that we built around it. Somebody sells a household a treatment system, installs it competently, and is never heard from again — the company gets absorbed, the technician moves on, the phone number stops working, or the business simply treats service as unprofitable and quietly stops offering it. Five years later the homeowner has a tank in the basement that nobody has touched, water that has gradually gone back to the way it was, and no obvious person to call.

We take those calls, and we take them on equipment we did not sell. Softener control valves, carbon and iron filter beds, RO stages, UV lamps and sleeves, sediment housings, brine tanks, bypass valves — across every major brand and a good number of minor ones. We carry the common wear parts and we can source the rest. If a part is genuinely obsolete we will tell you that too, rather than stringing out a repair that was never going to work.

Most of what we find is repairable. Softeners that stopped softening usually have a fouled resin bed or a worn valve seal, not a dead unit. RO systems that stopped producing usually have a clogged prefilter or a storage tank that has lost its air charge. Carbon tanks that stopped improving the taste usually need re-bedding. These are hundreds-of-dollars problems being quoted as thousands-of-dollars replacements, and we would rather fix the thing you already own.

What We Repair and Service

Routine maintenance on a schedule, and diagnostic repairs when something has already stopped working.

  • Softener valve service and rebuilds

Pistons, seals and spacers, injectors, brine valves and drain line restrictors. Most softener faults are a wear part inside the control head rather than a failed unit.

  • Resin bed cleaning and re-bedding

Iron-fouled resin cleaned, or the bed replaced in the existing tank. Far cheaper than a new softener and it restores capacity properly.

  • Carbon and iron filter re-bedding

Spent media removed and replaced, the tank and distributor inspected, and the control valve reprogrammed to the current water chemistry.

  • RO diagnostics and stage replacement

Prefilters, membranes, post-filters, check valves, faucet repairs and storage tank recharge or replacement. We find the stage that failed rather than replacing everything.

  • UV lamp, sleeve and ballast service

Annual lamp changes, quartz sleeve cleaning or replacement, ballast and alarm testing, and a follow-up bacteria sample.

  • Leaks, bypasses and plumbing corrections

Leaking housings, failed O-rings, systems plumbed in with no bypass, drain lines without an air gap. The installation defects that cause the next failure.

How a Service Call Works

Step 1

Tell us the symptom

Hard water returning, water that smells again, a system cycling constantly, a leak, no production at the RO faucet. The symptom narrows it down before we arrive.

Step 2

We diagnose before we quote

Water tested, system inspected, fault identified. You get told what is actually wrong, not what would be most convenient to sell.

Step 3

Repair quoted against replacement, honestly

Both numbers, side by side, with our view of which makes sense and why. Sometimes replacement genuinely is the right call, and we will say so plainly when it is.

Step 4

Most repairs done on the visit

We carry common valve parts, cartridges, lamps and O-rings. Where a part has to be ordered we tell you the lead time rather than leaving you guessing.

Step 5

You go on the service schedule if you want to

Cartridges, lamps, media and valve service tracked by interval, with a call from us when something is due. Opt out at any time.

Why People Stay With Us

We answer in year six

Not just in the first week after the sale. The whole premise of this business is that somebody picks up when the system needs attention years later.

Brand-agnostic

We work on what is in your basement regardless of whose badge is on it, and we do not use a brand as an excuse to recommend ripping it out.

Repair quoted first

Replacement is quoted too, so you can see both, but the repair figure comes first because it is usually the right answer.

On every job of this kind

  • All major brands serviced
  • Diagnosis before any quote
  • Repair and replacement priced side by side
  • Common wear parts carried on the van

Have Someone Look at the System You Already Own

(317) 743-2115

If there is equipment in your basement that nobody has serviced in years, or a system that quietly stopped doing its job, it is almost certainly worth a diagnostic visit before anyone talks about replacing it. Call and describe what it is doing.

Diagnosis before any quote. Repair and replacement priced side by side.
