Water Filtration in Fishers, IN, and the Service That Comes After It

Most of Fishers went up in the last thirty years, and the softener the builder put in has been quietly working ever since. We install new systems, and we look after the ones already in your basement, whoever sold them.

  • We service systems we did not sell

  • Flat pricing before the work starts

If the system you have is fine, that is what you will hear.

What you get on every visit

  • A hardness and iron reading taken on site

  • Service on any brand, not just ours
  • Filter and media changes scheduled, not forgotten
  • Honest advice when a system has life left
  • Licensed, insured technicians

Why us

Why Fishers Homeowners Keep Our Number

Plenty of companies will sell you a softener. Fewer will come back when the resin is spent in year twelve.

We service the systems other people installed

Most of the equipment in Fishers basements was put in by a builder or a company that has since moved on. We work on it anyway. Brand loyalty is their problem, not yours, and a twelve-year-old softener that needs a control valve does not need replacing.

The water gets measured before anything is recommended

Hardness, iron, pH and total dissolved solids, read on site, written down. Hamilton County sits on limestone so the hardness is predictable, but iron and sulfur vary street to street out toward Geist and McCordsville.

Flat pricing, agreed before we start

The quote names the equipment, the labour and what happens to the old unit. If something behind the wall turns out differently than expected, we stop and re-quote rather than adding it to the bill.

We will tell you to keep what you have

A system that is sized right and maintained will outlast most of the sales pitches made about it. If yours is fine, you will hear that, and we will book the filter change instead.

Installed in one visit where the plumbing allows

Most softener and whole-house filter swaps are a single appointment. We confirm the loop, the drain and the bypass before the day so nothing stalls halfway through.

Maintenance that actually gets scheduled

Cartridges, resin, UV lamps and RO membranes all have a service life. We put the next one on the calendar before we leave, because the most common fault we see is a filter that was never changed.

How it goes

Three Visits at Most, Usually Two

Whether it is a new system or a tune-up on an old one.

Step 1

We test and look at what is there

A water sample, the existing equipment, the plumbing loop and the drain. For a service call that often ends the visit — a valve rebuild or a media change is done the same day.

Step 2

You get options and a flat price

Where a new system makes sense, you see what each option costs and what it actually fixes. Where the existing unit is worth keeping, that option appears too, with its number.

Step 3

We install it and set the next service

The system goes in, gets commissioned against a fresh reading, and the next filter or media change goes on the calendar before we pack up.

Coverage

Fishers First, Hamilton County and the Geist Side

I-69 runs the length of our map and 116th Street crosses it, which puts most of Hamilton County inside a short drive. We also cover the Geist shoreline and across the county line into McCordsville and Fortville, where private wells are common.

City water and well water are different jobs

Fishers on municipal supply is a hardness problem with a known answer. A well off Olio Road can carry iron, manganese and sulfur as well, and that needs a treatment train rather than a softener.

We plan days around the map

Western Hamilton County and the Geist side get their own days, which is why an arrival window means something rather than being a guess.

One number for all of it

No branch to work out. Call (317) 743-2115, describe the equipment or the symptom, and the visit is booked against the right day.

Primary

Fishers

I-69 / 116th St

Two decades of fast build-out, so most softeners here are on their second or third owner.

Geist

Olio Rd / Fall Creek Rd

Reservoir-side homes, several still on private wells with iron and sulfur to manage.

Noblesville

SR 32 / Allisonville Rd

Older downtown stock alongside newer subdivisions north of 146th.

McCordsville

SR 67 / Mt Comfort Rd

Well water is common east of the county line.

Carmel

US 31 / Keystone Pkwy

The same limestone hardness, generally on municipal supply.

Westfield

US 31 / SR 32

Newer construction where builder-grade equipment is reaching end of life.

Lawrence

Pendleton Pike / 56th St

Established housing where whole-house systems are often retrofits.

Fortville

SR 67 / Broadway

Small-town lots, a mix of municipal and private wells.

Oaklandon

Oaklandon Rd / 75th St

Older homes near Geist with aging plumbing to work around.

Castleton

I-69 / 82nd St

Dense residential and light commercial on the Marion County side.

Zionsville

Michigan Rd / Oak St

Larger lots west of the county, frequently on wells.

Pendleton

I-69 / SR 38

The far eastern edge of our regular schedule.

Tell Us What Your Water Is Doing

Spotting, staining, a smell, a softener that stopped regenerating. Describe it and we will tell you what it usually turns out to be on a house in your part of the county.

We work on every brand, including systems we did not sell.

Questions

Questions Fishers Homeowners Ask

The ten that come up on nearly every call.

How hard is the water in Fishers?

Central Indiana sits on limestone, so hardness here is high and consistent — well into the range where scale and spotting are noticeable. The exact grain count varies by supply and by year, which is why we take a reading at your tap rather than quoting a number from a table.

Will you service a system you did not install?

Yes, and it is a large share of what we do. Most equipment in Fishers was installed by a builder or by a company that no longer covers the area. We work on all major brands.

How long should a softener last?

Resin typically gives ten to fifteen years and a control valve can usually be rebuilt once in that span. A unit that is only eight years old and misbehaving is far more likely to need service than replacement, and we will say so.

Do I need a softener or a filter?

They solve different problems. A softener handles hardness; a filter handles taste, chlorine, sediment, iron or bacteria. The water test tells us which you actually have, and plenty of homes need one and not the other.

My water smells like rotten eggs. What is that?

Usually hydrogen sulfide, and where it shows up matters. If it is only in the hot water it is often the water heater's anode rod rather than the supply, which is a much smaller job. If it is in both, it is a treatment question.

We are on a well near Geist. Is that different?

Quite different. Well water around the reservoir and east toward McCordsville commonly carries iron, manganese and sometimes sulfur on top of hardness, which needs a staged treatment train rather than a single unit.

How often do filters need changing?

Sediment and carbon cartridges are usually six to twelve months, RO membranes two to five years, UV lamps annually. We set the next date before we leave, because a filter nobody changed is the most common fault we find.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes on installation and replacement work. A diagnostic visit on an existing system is charged, because finding the fault is the work, and you will know that cost before we book.

What areas do you cover?

Fishers first, then Hamilton County throughout, the Geist shoreline, and across the line into McCordsville, Fortville, Lawrence and Castleton.

What warranty comes with the work?

A written workmanship warranty on the installation, plus the manufacturer's coverage on the equipment. Both are named on the quote you approve rather than described at the door.

About us

About Fishers Water Filtration

Fishers Water Filtration works on the water this county actually has: limestone hardness almost everywhere, and iron or sulfur once you get out toward the reservoir. We lead with service because most of the equipment here is already installed, and most of it has years left in it.
